Additionally, several solutions have been grouped together in suites to more fully address IT lifecycle management such as client or asset management. The Altiris® Connector for HP OpenView provides seamless integration that extends the reach of HP OpenView solutions, including Network Node Manager, Operations, and Service Desk, and leverages the complementary strengths of HP OpenView and Altiris solutions. This combination of technologies allows you to implement a more comprehensive management solution, resolve problems faster, and keep your systems running more efficiently. For example, Altiris inventory provides essential hardware and software information to HP Service Desk for immediate problem diagnosis. The Altiris® Connector for HP Systems Insight Manager allows IT professionals to consolidate deployment and management of HP clients and servers within a single HP Systems Insight Manager console. The connector extends HP Systems Insight Manager core functionality with client deployment, HP client hardware management, and access to additional Altiris lifecycle management functionality.
